Real Madrid completed a solid performance against Huesca last Saturday, but Inter Milan is expected to be an entirely different animal when Los Blancos host the Italian team in the UEFA Champions League today.
Madrid will be left without Carvajal, Odriozola, Militao, and Nacho and that means that Los Blancos will have a very fine defensive line. Any kind of physical problem for the starters could mean problems for coach Zinedine Zidane, who would be forced to use a player out of position as his bench will have no other substitutes than Marcelo.
Real Madrid predicted XI: Ramos, Courtois, Vázquez, Varane, Mendy, Casemiro, Kroos, Valverde, Hazard, Asensio, Benzema.
Inter Milan predicted XI: Handanovic, D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Kolarov, Achraf, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Young, Lautaro Martínez, Perisic.
Luckily for Madrid, it is almost certain that Inter will lack the physicality of Romelu Lukaku. The attacker missed the Inter game last weekend and has yet to train with the team so it is more than questionable at the moment.
Achraf's return to Madrid will definitely be interesting to watch as the young defender will likely want to prove himself after the club decided to sell him.
