RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain will meet on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. for a place in the Champions League final.

Both teams are aiming for the finals for the first time in their history. If Leipzig did this, they would be the seventh German team to appear in the masterpiece, a number second only to the English teams. A PSG win would make them the first French team to reach the final since Monaco in 2003/04.

To get that far, Leipzig has beaten more established heavyweights like Benfica in the groups and Tottenham Hotspur and Atlético de Madrid in the knockout rounds. The latter were defeated without the help of striker Timo Werner, who completed a summer season at Chelsea.

PSG, meanwhile, went through a group that included Real Madrid, Galatasaray and Club Brugge while the French champions put up tough tests against Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta (thanks, Eric Choupo-Moting) in the round of 16, the first semi-final of the year. Late 1994/95.

Previous lineups of RB Leipzig and PSG:
RB Leipzig (against Atlético de Madrid): Gulacsi; Klostermann, Upamecano, Halstenberg, Tasende; Laimer, Kampl; Sabitzer, Olmo, Nkunku; Poulsen.
PSG (against Atalanta): Navas *; Kehrer, Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat; Herrera, Marquinhos, Gueye; Neymar, Icardi, Sarabia.
Summer newcomers Hwang Hee-chan and Benjamin Henrichs are not qualified for this year's Champions League, while central defender Ibrahima Konate is recovering from a hip replacement.

Kylian Mbappé managed 30 minutes against Atalanta and should return to Thomas Tuchel's starting XI in what is arguably the most important game in PSG history. Layin Kurzawa is likely to be absent again while influential midfielder Maro Verratti struggles with a calf problem.

Keylar Navas was eliminated from Atalanta in the second half with a hamstring injury, so Sergio Rico is likely to intervene again between the posts. Angel Di Maria has returned from suspension.

Player to see:
RB Leipzig: Werner may be gone, but Julian Nagelsmann doesn't leave that without offensive talent. The most versatile midfielder is versatile midfielder Marcel Sabitzer. The Austrian international is able to act in midfield or on the flanks. He has excellent performance on the ball at his feet and a work ethic that is almost unmatched..
PSG: Even though he only managed 30 minutes against Atalanta, you can be sure that Kylian Mbappé will be firmly anchored in Tuchel's plans for the game. The French international was directly involved in 10 goals in just eight Champions League games in 2019/20 (5 goals, 5 assists), an average of one goal or every 48 minutes. PSG themselves have scored at least once in their last 33 Champions League games, just one below the record, Real Madrid between 2011 and 2014. And this is mainly due to the unique understanding between Mbappé and Neymar.
