Real Madrid will seek to continue their undefeated start in the new La Liga season and with successive victories when they host Real Valladolid on Wednesday (8:30 pm).

Zinedine Zidane's men started their new career with a goalless draw with Real Sociedad, but they followed suit with a 3-2 win over Real Betis. Sergio Ramos scored a winning penalty in the last ten minutes to ensure all three points were returned to the capital.

Real Valladolid, however, is still looking for their first win, having tied twice and suffered a defeat in their first three matches. The White and Violet team, which is surfacing outside the relegation zone, and which includes Brazilian legend Ronaldo as their president and main owner, will try a first win.

Players to watch:

Real Madrid: After arriving at Madrid with great fanfare and great expectations, Martin Odegaard is finally starting to prove his promise early in his career and it looks like he will play a prominent role in Zidane's first team this season. The Norwegian has spent the last three seasons on loan but is back after starring in Heerenveen, Vitis, and Real Sociedad and is now ready to consolidate his place in Los Blancos XI. Odegaard has the creativity and excellent range of passes, he will provide a good start for Zidane in midfield and could make a difference against Valladolid.

Valladolid: Real hit a blank shot on an opening day against Real Sociedad, but Zidane's team compensated for its recent defeats in the last third of the next match against Betis, scoring three times for the club to clinch the first three points of the season. The Whites are now feeling blood and will want to repeat their feats in the middle of the week, and could spend a field day if former West Ham goalkeeper Roberto shows some of his levels in the Premier League. The Spaniard has become something of the mainstream meme in East London for his unfortunate performance, but he will be keen to prove the naysayers wrong and renew his reputation. Clean sheets against Real could go a long way towards achieving this.

Predicting Scoreboard: Real Madrid 3-0 Real Valladolid
